NBA rumors: Deandre Ayton doesn’t have a lot of trade value right now

After trading for Bradley Beal, the Suns are really short on depth going forward. This will result in them attempting to move Deandre Ayton for depth.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, this may be hard to do due to the fact that he doesn’t have a crazy amount of value. It seems like the Suns will not get more than two solid role players in any deal for the player.

A suggested deal has been one where he ends up with the Mavericks but that might change now due to the fact that the Suns needed frontcourt players rather than backcourt help. They currently have no power forward on the roster and only two bench players. They also have only one center on the roster. This is a team in need of serious depth and insiders have said that it is not likely that the Suns will get a lot of value for Ayton.

Phoenix needs to nail this trade return as these players will not only have high minutes in the rotation but some may be starters for the team. Things could get very bad very fast if these players are not a good fit for the team or just aren’t good at all.
