Best NBA prop bets today for Celtics vs. Hawks Game 3 (Malcolm Brogdon undervalued)

The Boston Celtics have dominated the Atlanta Hawks in the first two games of their playoff series, making it hard to trust Atlanta as just a five-point underdog at home in Game 3.

If you’re not looking to bet a side or total, you’ve come to the right place, as I have two prop plays that I’m considering for this Game 3 matchup.

Celtics vs. Hawks best NBA prop bets

  • John Collins UNDER 18.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • Malcolm Brogdon OVER 3.5 Rebounds

John Collins UNDER 18.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

John Collins has been brutal all season for the Hawks, shooting just 29.2 percent from beyond the arc and struggling to stretch the floor from the power forward spot.

Collins has also had one of the worst seasons of his career on the glass, averaging just 6.5 boards per game.

Things haven’t changed in this series, as Collins is shooting just 7-for-18 from the field (1-for-8 from 3) while averaging 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

The Hawks forward has fallen short of this PRA total in both games, as well as the play-in matchup against Miami. I’ll fade him in Game 3.

Malcolm Brogdon OVER 3.5 Rebounds

Malcolm Brogdon has been strong on the glass through the first two games of this series, grabbing seven and five rebounds.

However, it isn’t just these two games where Brogdon has thrived on the glass. He’s picked up four or more boards in 10 of his last 15 games, and he closed the final 13 games of the regular season averaging 4.3 boards per game.

In that 15-game stretch, Brogdon has just one game where he grabbed fewer than three boards, so we know he has a solid floor in this prop as well.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
