Best NBA prop bets today for Lakers vs. Grizzlies Game 2 (Does Austin Reaves stay hot?)

The Memphis Grizzlies are in danger of falling behind 2-0 to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round, as the team may not have Ja Morant on Wednesday night due to the hand injury he suffered in Game 1.

That makes it a little tough to bet on a side in this game, but luckily we have other options!

Why not bet on some props?

Here are three I’m considering for Wednesday’s Game 2 matchup.

Lakers vs. Grizzlies best NBA prop bets

  • Austin Reaves OVER 23.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • Anthony Davis OVER 4.5 Steals and Blocks
  • Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 22.5 Points

Austin Reaves OVER 23.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Austin Reaves has been on fire as of late, clearing this prop in six of his last 10 games and landing on exactly 23 points, rebounds and assists on two occasions over that stretch.

With the way Reaves has been scoring the ball, there’s a chance he could clear this number on points alone, or come at least close to it.

Since being inserted into the starting lineup to close the regular season, he’s averaging 18.3 points, 6.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in 10 games. I’ll gladly take the OVER again while he’s hot.

Anthony Davis OVER 4.5 Steals and Blocks

Anthony Davis dominated on defense in Game 1, recording seven blocks and three steals.

It’s unlikely he puts up such a wild stat line in Game 2, but he did record seven blocks and steals in his final game of the regular season and went over this number in the play-in game for the Lakers.

At plus money, it’s worth a shot on Davis to have another big defensive game.

Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 22.5 Points

With Morant looking doubtful for Game 2, someone is going to have to step up for the Grizzlies scoring the basketball.

Jackson Jr. has done that as of late, scoring 31 points in Game 1 and dropping 31 or more points in four of his last five games.

When Morant sits this season, JJJ is averaging 21.7 points per game, clearing this prop seven different times. I’ll take a shot on him in Game 2.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
