NBA best bets today (Predictions for Ivican Zubac, Nuggets-Jazz on Saturday)

There are just two days left in the NBA’s regular season, and I have another two-piece on tap for the NBA action.

It’s been tough to bet on The Association over the last week with teams tanking and sitting players out due to injuries, so I’ve been super selective about how I’ve bet the NBA.

On Saturday, there is one spread and a player prop that I believe we can take advantage of. Let’s dive in:

NBA best bets record to date

NBA best bets today

  • Ivica Zubac to Record a Double-Double (+105)
  • Denver Nuggets -5.5 (-110) vs. Utah Jazz

Ivica Zubac to Record a Double-Double (+105)

Ivica Zubac has been solid for the Los Angeles Clippers this season, averaging a double-double.

He’s picked up a double-double in four of his last 10 games, including a 14-point, 10-rebound game against the Portland Trail Blazers the last time these teams faced off.

Zubac is at +105 to record OVER 10.5 rebounds in this game, so I like his odds of grabbing at least 10, and he’s scored 10+ points in nine of his last 10.

At plus money, he’s a solid bet to hit this prop against the tanking Blazers.

Denver Nuggets -5.5 (-110) vs. Utah Jazz

The Denver Nuggets technically have nothing to play for, but they held tight without all of their starters against a full Phoenix Suns squad on Thursday night, losing by just four points.

Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are all questionable for this game, and there’s a chance Mike Malone wants to give them a tune up before the postseason starts next week.

If not, I still think Denver’s bench can beat a Utah team that has lost four straight and is sitting Lauri Markkanen, Collin Sexton, Talen Horton-Tucker, Jordan Clarkson, Walker Kessler, Kelly Olynyk and Rudy Gay in this game.

The Jazz are focused on getting a better draft pick if they can, and Denver’s bench has some solid vets (Reggie Jackson, Thomas Bryant) that could lead the team to a win today if the starters sit.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
