NBA best bets today (Predictions for Warriors-Grizzlies, Mitchell Robinson and more)

Another day, another chance to keep the hot streak going in the NBA.

Since Sunday, I’ve been on a massive run, hitting 14 of my last 17 NBA bets, and pushing our season record to 40 picks over .500.

With six games in the NBA on Thursday, it is only fitting that we make six different picks for the action. Three player props, one total, one moneyline and one parlay? Something for everyone to get into the action.

Let’s break down the picks and the latest odds:

NBA best bets record to date

Detroit Pistons

15-51, 29-36-1 ATS

This is a dream matchup for an UNDER especially since so many key players are out tonight.

The Charlotte Hornets are without LaMelo Ball and the Detroit Pistons won’t have Hamidou Diallo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Isaiah Stewart, Cade Cunningham and Alec Burks.
So far this season, these are two of the worst offenses in the NBA, with the Hornets ranking 30th in offensive rating the Pistons clocking in at No. 27.

Over Detroit’s last seven games, five of them have fallen short of this total. For Charlotte, its last six games have gone under 224.5 points.

I can’t see the Pistons bench unit and the Ball-less Hornets putting up a barnburner on Thursday night.

Golden State Warriors ML (-140) vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Yes, the Golden State Warriors have been awful on the road this season (7-25 straight up), but this is a game they’re going to get up for.

Memphis and Golden State have a lot of bad blood between them dating back to last season’s playoffs, and Golden State is already 2-0 against the Grizz this season with one of those wins coming without Stephen Curry.

Memphis has dropped three straight and still won’t have Ja Morant (suspension) in the lineup. Golden State should turn things around on the road and pick up a win.

Donte DiVincenzo OVER 8.5 Rebounds and Assists (-135)

Donte DiVincenzo has been inserted into the starting lineup for Golden State, and he’s been a stat-sheet stuffer as of late.

Over his last three games, DiVincenzo has posted 13, 13 and 13 assists and rebounds for the Warriors. Not only that, but since joining the starting lineup on Feb. 14, he’s averaging 5.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

DiVincenzo has cleared this line in five of his last six games, and he’s really moved the ball well with Steph back in the lineup. I love this OVER, even if we have to lay the -135 juice.

Mitchell Robinson OVER 8.5 Points (+100)

New York Knicks @ Sacramento Kings

Mitchell Robinson is extremely undervalued in this prop for the New York Knicks on Thursday night.

Since returning from a thumb injury, Robinson has scored in double figures in six of his last seven games, averaging 10.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.

Now, he is going to be a part of what should be a high-scoring affair between the No. 1 offense (Sacramento) and No. 5 offense (New York) tonight.

Robinson is a beast on the offensive glass (3.4 offensive rebounds per game since returning) so he should get a few easy chances tonight. At even money, this is a value for the Knicks big man.

James Wiseman UNDER 14.5 Points (-115)

James Wiseman is coming off a 21-point game, but he may see his minutes cut a bit tonight with Jalen Duren (probable) expected to return for the Pistons.

Wiseman and Marvin Bagley III have been handling the big man minutes for Detroit as of late, but Duren was the starter at center prior to getting hurt.

The former No. 2 overall pick has failed to clear this line in eight of his last 10 games, so I think he goes under with a smaller role on Thursday.

Three-Team Parlay (-130)

  • Milwaukee Bucks ML (-450) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  • Indiana Pacers ML (-450) vs. Houston Rockets
  • New York Knicks +11.5 (-525) vs. Sacramento Kings

I’ve been enjoying these parlays (especially since they’ve been hitting) this week, so why not give the people another?

Milwaukee Bucks: The Bucks won’t have Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight, but Brooklyn is down Cameron Johnson, Spencer Dinwiddie, Ben Simmons, Nic Claxton and Royce O’Neale against a Milwaukee team that is 27-6 at home. Take the Bucks.

Indiana Pacers: The Pacers are major favorites at home, and I love them to win this game against a Houston team that is 10-21 ATS as a road dog and 6-27 straight up away from home this season.

New York Knicks: Yes, the Knicks lost their last game to the Charlotte Hornets, but they haven’t lost a game by more than 11 points since Jan. 20! New York is just a two-point underdog on the road tonight and is the best team ATS as a road dog this season. I’ll tease this all the way to 11.5 for the sake of the parlay.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
