Warriors vs. Lakers prediction and odds for Sunday, March 5 (How to bet Stephen Curry’s return)

Are the defending champs rounding into form?

The Warriors have won five straight games, and may be getting the reigning NBA Finals MVP Stephen Curry back in limited fashion after missing time with a leg injury when the Dubs are in Los Angeles to face the Lakers.

LA is trying to stay within striking distance of the play-in tournament with LeBron James nursing a foot injury for the next few weeks, can Anthony Davis lead the team to a home win against the Warriors?

Here are the odds for this Western Conference showdown:

Warriors vs. Lakers prediction and pick

The biggest news for this game is that Curry is set to return from a left leg injury ahead of the Warriors playoff push. It comes at a great time with Golden State playing some of its best basketball of the season as they face the short handed Lakers.

In the six games since the All-Star break, the Warriors have been blitzing the competition, +10.2 net rating with the leagues best defense. While the competition hasn’t been stellar, the Warriors have been finding their playoff form at the right time.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are trying to stay afloat without LeBron James, 1-2 since James was lost to a foot injury. While Davis is trying to shoulder the load, the entire Lakers offense continues to flounder, 24th in offensive rating in the three game sample.

The Warriors road woes are well documented this season, 7-23 straight up, but I can’t look past the current form of each team.
