Those were some good days for Portland fans, but now the two star guards will face off in Portland on Wednesday night with McCollum now a member of the New Orleans Pelicans.
C.J. and the Pels are just half a game ahead of the Blazers for the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference, and they come into this game on a four-game losing streak. I am betting on the Blazers to win this game, as I mentioned in my NBA best bets column today.

He scored 71 points on Sunday night, and he’s put up nine 40-point games since the start of 2023.
I love Lillard’s 3-point prop tonight, as the Pelicans struggle on the road this season (10-21) and allow over 12 3-pointers per game on the season.
Dame has cleared 4.5 3-balls made in seven of his last 11 games and four of his last five, averaging 12.2 shots per game from deep over that stretch. He should have a big night at home on Wednesday.
