Best NBA prop bets today for Timberwolves vs. Clippers (Bet this Kawhi Leonard prop)

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers face off on national television on Tuesday night, and there are plenty of stars in action.

If you’re settling in for a West Coast barnburner tonight, why not wager on some prop bets?

Here are three that I’m considering on Tuesday:

Timberwolves vs. Clippers best NBA prop bets

  • Kawhi Leonard OVER 3.5 Assists
  • Mike Conley UNDER 11.5 Points
  • Russell Westbrook OVER 1.5 Steals

Kawhi Leonard OVER 3.5 Assists

Kawhi Leonard has cleared 3.5 assists in eight of his last 10 games, and he’s averaging 4.3 assists per game over his last 23 contests (dating back to Christmas Day).

The Wolves allow 25.5 opponent assists per game this season, and with Leonard handling the ball a ton for the Clippers now that they moved guards Reggie Jackson and John Wall, I think he clears this on Tuesday.

Mike Conley UNDER 11.5 Points

I’m going to keep fading Mike Conley as a scorer in Minnesota, as he’s taken double-digit shots just one time since being traded to the team.

Conley has cleared 11.5 points twice with the Wolves, but he’s averaging just 9.0 points per game across five contests.

The Clippers rank 13th in the league in defensive rating, but this is more about Conley’s lack of scoring aggression than anything else.

Russell Westbrook OVER 1.5 Steals

This is a little more of a longshot play, but Russell Westbrook has multiple steals in three of his last six games, including a five-steal game against Denver on Sunday.

Minnesota is one of the worst teams in the NBA in terms of turnovers per game, ranking 28th and averaging 15.7 giveaways per night. They also allow 8.2 opponent steals per game this season.

Russ has played a sizable role since being signed by the Clippers, so he’s worth a shot at +185 odds against a team that is loose with the basketball.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
