Spurs vs. Clippers prediction and odds for Thursday, January 26 (Clippers stay hot)

The Los Angeles Clippers are hot right now, now half a game out of the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference with a third straight win on Tuesday night.

The Clips are massive favorites on Thursday night against the San Antonio Spurs, who rank last in the NBA in net rating and have lost eight of their last 10 games.

With all the injuries the Clippers have dealt with this season, they have only been double-digit favorites twice before this game.

This is the second game of a back-to-back for San Antonio after it lost to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.

How should we bet on this game? First, let’s look at the latest odds:

Spurs vs. Clippers odds, spread and total

Spurs vs. Clippers prediction and pick

It’s almost impossible to bet on the Spurs right now, especially because they have struggled as road dogs, going 9-13 against the spread and losing those games by an average margin of 11.0 points.

The Clippers have back-to-back double-digit wins on their resume, and they are starting to turn things around on offense, ranking fifth in offensive rating over the last 10 games.

San Antonio is just 23rd in offensive rating over that same stretch, and the team already lost to the Clippers at home earlier this month.

I don’t love either side in this matchup, but I’ll lean with the Clippers with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard both expected to play (not on the injury report as of this writing) in this game.

The Spurs don’t have a ton of offensive firepower, and this young team has found itself overmatched too many times this season on the road.
