Kings vs. Spurs prediction and odds for Sunday, January 15 (Kings undervalued)

The Sacramento Kings have been red hot as of late, climbing to the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference with three straight dominant wins over a couple lowly teams in the NBA.

Now, the Kings get to face arguably the worst team in the league, the San Antonio Spurs, who come into this game with the worst net rating in the NBA.

The Kings are a fast-paced offense that can put up points in a hurry, led by De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis and Kevin Huerter.

Can the league’s No. 27 offense keep pace with the No. 3 unit in the league?

Here’s a look at the odds for this Western Conference showdown:

Kings vs. Spurs odds, spread and total

Kings vs. Spurs prediction and pick

The Kings have blown out the Orlando Magic and the Houston Rockets twice in their last three games, yet they’re only laying 6.5 points on the road here.

The Spurs have lost four straight, and they were blown out on Friday by the Golden State Warriors, another strong and fast-paced offense.

San Antonio is 10-9 against the spread as a home underdog, but I think this is too short of a line for the Kings.

Sacramento has been elite as a road favorite this season, going 4-1 against the spread and winning those games by an average margin of 10.4 points per game.

I don’t trust the Spurs to hang around in this game, especially since the Kings have put up 134 or more points in four straight contests.
