Best NBA Prop Bets Record

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • James Harden OVER 20.5 Points (-125)
  • Domantas Sabonis OVER 20.5 PTS (+102)
  • Donovan Mitchell OVER 29.5 Points (-111)

James Harden OVER 20.5 Points (-125)

James Harden has cleared 20.5 points in four of his five games since returning from a foot injury, and now he faces a Toronto Raptors team that is in all sorts of trouble entering this game.

The Raptors were just torched for 43 points by Jordan Poole in a loss on Sunday night, their fifth straight and eighth in their last 10 games.

Normally a solid defensive team, Toronto is now 17th in the league in defensive rating, allowing over 110 points in seven straight games.

Harden has been a machine moving the ball (11.8 assists per game since returning), but he’s also taking 15.6 shots and 7.6 free throws per game over this five-game stretch.

I’ll fade Toronto’s defense on a back-to-back with Harden playing this well. – Peter Dewey

Domantas Sabonis OVER 20.5 PTS (+102)

The Sacramento Kings are back home taking on the Charlotte Hornets tonight, which sets up for Sacramento to do pretty much anything they want offensively.

Sacramento ranks just outside the top five in the NBA in offensive rating this year, and is only a point behind the Boston Celtics for the best offensive rating in the league at home.

Charlotte has lost eight straight games, with the league’s worst defensive rating during that stretch. Granted, the Hornets have been in the bottom three for the entirety of the season, so the situation has gone from bad, to literally worst.

Sabonis has cleared this line in five of six games, and while the Hornets have squeezed everything they can out of Mason Plumlee at the center spot, they don’t have anyone to truly challenge Sabonis at his spots.

Perhaps I’m walking into a trap with this at plus-odds, but unless Sabonis chooses to not be a willing participant in arguably his best matchup of the season, I don’t know how he doesn’t clear this number. – Ben Heisler

Donovan Mitchell OVER 29.5 Points (-111)

Narrative? Sure. Reason to bet it? Here you go!

Donovan Mitchell is averaging 29.5 points per game on the season, so an average performance from him gets us over this total. Further, he has gone over this number in 16 of 27 games, which translates to 59%. If you factor in what the odds of -111 implies, 52.67%, then we are still coming out ahead of expectation.

Now, let’s talk about the matchup. Mitchell is facing his former team the Utah Jazz at home, a team in the bottom third of defensive efficiency this season.

Factor in that Mitchell is performing at near 50/40/90 levels (he is shooting 50% from the field, 42% from 3 and 88% from the free throw line) and the former Utah star should have a big effort on Monday night even if you look past the trendy revenge narrative. – Reed Wallach
