Watch Draymond Green taunting Memphis crowd after ejection (Video)

Draymond Green is already getting plenty of attention from the referees in the Golden State Warriors’ series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

For one reason or another, it seems as if Draymond Green doesn’t have many fans in Memphis. The Golden State Warriors are battling the Memphis Grizzlies in a Western Conference Semifinals series and Game 1 got a little interesting.

Green was ultimately ejected from Game 1 in pretty controversial fashion, but it seems like just about any decision made by refs in the playoffs can be pretty controversial. However, despite being ejected, Green apparently felt as if he needed to give a nice, kind farewell to the good folks of Memphis.

Before ultimately leaving the court for the locker room, Green took the opportunity to have some fun and taunt Grizzlies fans a bit. Of course, Grizzlies fans weren’t in love with any of that.

Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report was on the sidelines and able to get a GREAT video of Green’s farewell and the crowd’s reaction:

Few players are really able to handle the sort of criticism and trash talk that can be hurled from fans towards a player. From the outside looking in, it seems like Green might be among the best in the league at this.

There’s no doubt that he was probably upset to some degree about this situation, but he definitely seems to be having some fun antagonizing folks in Memphis on the way out of the game.

Waving to fans, skipping around the court, handing out high fives to the folks on his team’s bench, goading fans to boo him even louder. There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Green has prepared for moments like these. He seems to know how to get under other players’ skins and he definitely is great at agitating folks in the stands.
