Joel Embiid tells Hawks crowd to ‘shut the f*** up’ in Game 4 (Video)

Joel Embiid had some choice words for Atlanta Hawks fans booing the Philadelphia 76ers.

Joel Embiid was having himself a night during the first half of Game 4 between the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks. But when the Hawks pulled closer, things got more heated, and frustrated Embiid lashed out at the Atlanta crowd for booing a foul call against their team.

You don’t need to be an expert lip-reader to understand what Embiid said to the crowd at State Farm Arena.

Embiid went ice-cold in the third quarter after posting a cool 13 points and 10 rebounds in the first half. He missed all seven shots he took in the third frame and turned the ball over with a bad pass that went out of bounds.

The NBA Playoffs bring out the good, the bad and the ugly for fans and players alike. As the game slows down and the physicality ramps up, everyone’s emotions run high.

If Embiid can’t get himself under control, the Sixers risk losing a game they led by 13 points at halftime. The Hawks held a two-point lead with five minutes remaining.
