Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks

Heat fans counted to 10 during Giannis Antetokounmpo’s free throws (Video)

Miami Heat fans made sure to hold Giannis Antetokounmpo accountable at the free-throw line in Thursday night’s Game 3.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks absolutely destroyed the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the first-round series. The Bucks defense stepped up once again in what was a snoozer of a 113-84 victory that has Milwaukee one win away from a sweep.

Game 1 was a two-point win that seemingly set up a tight series. One thing that kept the game close late was Antetokounmpo getting called for a violation at the free-throw line for taking too long.

Heat fans did not forget and had some fun during Thursday’s blowout by counting to 10 to keep the former MVP accountable at the line.

Heat fans have some fun with Giannis Antetokounmpo

Fans in attendance had to find some way to have fun after the Heat fell behind 26-14 after one quarter. All plans of fighting back into the series faded away with the slow start and a bad third quarter drove that point home even further.

Antetokounmpo taking too much time at the line is not a new issue, and it explains why the refs were closely watching him in Game 1. The difference between 10 and 11 seconds is a bit trivial, but the NBA wants to enforce the rule, and he is a star in focus.

This may be the most fun Heat fans have the entire series based on how things have gone so far. A win in Game 4 would be nice, but it would not inspire much confidence heading back to Milwaukee.

Thus, Heat fans must find joy in the little things. Sharing joy in a WWE chant is not a bad way to find a smile during an awful game where the ticket probably didn’t cost under $100.
