Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings

Harrison Barnes hits game-winner in spitting image of LeBron James (Video)

Watch as Sacramento Kings veteran Harrison Barnes hits this game-winning three that looks eerily similar to one LeBron James has hit before.

Who doesn’t love a game-winner?

Harrison Barnes gave us a good one to lift the Sacramento Kings over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night. The Kings needed the win as they attempt to put themselves in a position to compete in one of the play-in games this season. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, held on to Larry Nance Jr. at the trade deadline and shipped Javale McGee off to Denver, signaling the fact that they’re still focused on the future.

Now sitting at 21-25 and 3.5 games out of the 8-seed, the Kings needed this win. Barnes finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds in the game. De’Aaron Fox had 20 points in the fourth quarter and finished with 36 points and 6 assists. Richaun Holmes helped out with 10 points and 14 rebounds in a balanced scoring effort for Sacramento, but it was Barnes’ 3 that sealed the deal.

Kings get the win over the Cavs with Harrison Barnes’ LeBron James-esque 3-pointer

Barnes got the Kings a 100-98 win with a 3-pointer at the buzzer. He caught De’Aaron Fox’s inbounds pass from the opposite end of the court on the right wing. He proceeded to turn over his left shoulder and launch a 3 that he’d need no rim to make.

The angle that the shot was caught at automatically sent us back to this LeBron James 3-pointer over Bradley Beal that tied their Cavaliers-Wizards matchup back in 2017 to force overtime.

History repeats itself after all.
