NBA trade rumors: Knicks are still interested in Victor Oladipo

With the NBA trade deadline coming next month, some big players could be on the move, and the list includes Victor Oladipo.

Which standout hoopers will be on the move before the NBA trade deadline? That’s an intriguing question, no doubt. Among the talents for fans to keep an eye on moving forward is Houston Rockets swingman Victor Oladipo.

Per a report, multiple teams have interest in trading for the 28-year-old guard. Well, how about a move to Manhattan and Madison Square Garden? Indeed, the New York Knicks may have interest in trading for Oladipo in a potential move that would certainly fire up those long-suffering New York supporters.

The Knicks could have interest in trading for Victor Oladipo

The Oladipo-New York rumors have been around for a while now, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to stop until the deadline arrives on March 25. Of course, it’s not going to come cheap for New York if they want him.

For Houston, it’s just more trade news during what was supposed to be a promising season. No one has forgotten about the team sending James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets in the biggest trade of the year. Harden had made it quite clear he wanted out of town.

That’s not the case here with Oladipo. He’s going to keep suiting up and not make this a TV drama as he waits to see whether or not he’ll finish out the season in Houston or if he’ll end up moving to a new city. For now, Oladipo will go out and play his best night in and night out, but the Rockets may want to see how they continue to perform with him on the team, even as he approaches free agency.

Stay tuned to see whether or not he’ll be rocking a new jersey in the coming weeks. Should he make his way to New York, it’d be a big move for the organization.
