Paul George comments on Jared Dudley’s book

Paul George and Jared Dudley have been going back and forth for a few days now after the release of Dudley’s book and George has had enough.

It’s no secret that Paul George has never had the best time with the media. His struggles in last year’s NBA bubble were highlighted in performances where you could just tell his mind wasn’t in the game.

Through 20 games this year, George has definitely found his confidence. He’s averaging 24.4 points per game on .508/.478/.905 shooting splits and the Los Angeles Clippers currently hold the second spot in the Western Conference. It seems that PG has finally had enough of all of the chit chat.

He’s still found his way into the middle of a verbal back and forth with Los Angeles Lakers veteran Jared Dudley. Dudley recently released a book detailing the Lakers’ experience in the NBA bubble. A certain section in the book described how the eventual champions got motivation from comments PG made in the preseason about how the Clippers were the team to beat. “But we think it’s disrespectful for Paul George, who hasn’t won, to put himself on the level of Bron (LeBron James) and AD (Anthony Davis),” wrote Dudley.

Paul George responds to Jared Dudley’s book

When asked about the comments, George didn’t seem like he had much energy left in him to entertain off-court events. “God bless you, bro,” he simply repeated when asked to respond.

The bad blood between these two teams is obviously still boiling over. NBA fans were robbed of the ultimate Western Conference showdown last year when the Clippers failed to make it to that stage. The former “Lob City’ squad is currently ahead of the reigning champs by one game.

The teams faced off against each other on opening night and the Clippers walked away with a 116-109 win. We don’t know when they’ll play again because the second half of the NBA season schedule has not yet been released. NBA fans definitely have a lot to look forward to if these two teams are in contention for the title by the end of this season.
