Kevin Durant sends strong message after James Harden’s Nets debut

Kevin Durant couldn’t have been more fired up to see James Harden totally ball out in his Brooklyn Nets debut.

Saturday night was a memorable one for the Brooklyn Nets and new sharpshooter James Harden. Taking on the Orlando Magic, Harden donned a Brooklyn jersey for the first time and put on a show, scoring 32 points in 40 minutes of action.

As pumped as Brooklyn fans are to see how well Harden played, you better believe fellow star Kevin Durant was also happy to see his new teammate have such a memorable night. Matter of fact, Durant can’t wait to get back on the hardwood.

James Harden looked sensational in his Brooklyn Nets debut

Durant himself has a sensational night for the Nets, pouring in a game-high 42 points. We’re used to seeing that from the superstar player, but the fact that he now has Harden by his side ready to make it rain from all over the court each game too should scare the rest of the league.

“I can’t wait to have our full team together, seeing what types of shots we can get for our shooters,” Durant said. “It’s going to be tough for anyone to double us & trap us in the pick-and-roll.”

That quote alone should have everyone in Brooklyn dreaming of the Nets winning the Eastern Conference and punching their tickets to the NBA Finals later this year. Once Kyrie Irving is back with the team at full go, just imagine how dangerous the Nets will be.

There were some lean years for the organization, but this new ‘Big 3’ certainly has what it takes to bring Brooklyn and all the New York City boroughs some much-needed happiness. Brooklyn is only getting started here ladies and gentlemen.
