College Football Playoff, LeBron James

LeBron James reacts to Justin Fields, Ohio State dominating Clemson in Sugar Bowl

LeBron James was super excited to come out of the Lakers game to find the Ohio State Buckeyes were throttling Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.

Last season NBA superstar LeBron James watched as his Ohio State Buckeyes fell in heartbreak to the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff. This time around, the reigning NBA Finals MVP had a far better response to how his Buckeyes handled the Tigers.

It’s no secret that James has ties to Ohio State, having grown up in the state and having attended several Buckeyes games and tweeting his support throughout the years. With Ohio State heading to the National Championship Game now against Alabama, LeBron hopes he can see his favorite team add another title to their trophy case.

LeBron James is hoping to see Ohio State football win the national championship

Heading into the game with Alabama, the Buckeyes open as a seven-point underdog, a label that has been attached to them before the start of the playoff. LeBron has used the same motivation before being down 3-1 to the 73-9 Golden State Warriors before overcoming the odds of bringing the Cleveland Cavaliers an NBA Championship.

There is no question that Ohio State will hear the noise about how they cannot beat Alabama. However, they have the support of one of the greatest players in NBA History. If he can prove people wrong, why can’t they?
