Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers

Steph Curry and Damian Lillard made a pact to attempt halfcourt pull-ups on opening night

Come opening night, NBA fans shouldn’t be surprised to see both Steph Curry and Damian Lillard attempt to bury shots from halfcourt.

Later this month, the NBA is all set to return to our lives for what’s expected to be an intriguing 2020-21 campaign. With opening night scheduled for Dec. 22, fans everywhere can’t wait to see what the biggest stars will be ready to do on the hardwood.

When the Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors hit the floor that week, both Steph Curry and Damian Lillard might be ready to provide us with some extra fireworks. That’s because the two have agreed to pull up from halfcourt? Oh, you better believe it.

Steph Curry and Damian Lillard throwing up shots from halfcourt would be fun to see

In a hilarious Instagram interaction, both Lillard and Curry appeared to tell each other that they’re going to shoot from halfcourt once the new campaign arrives. How awesome would that be to see? With these two players, it’s not even as absurd as it sounds.

Both Curry and Lillard have been known for pulling up from way beyond the 3-point line and finding nothing but the bottom of the cotton. While the chances of them making their shots from halfcourt aren’t going to be too high, no one should be stunned if either of the two end up making their attempts.

The two NBA superstars will look to power their teams on deep postseason runs this season and do their best to try and silence the mighty LA Lakers. For the Warriors, things will once again be a bit tricky, as Klay Thompson is set to miss another season, this time with a torn Achilles.

While that news sucks, Curry is back to full health and looks hungry to remind the NBA he’s one of the best players in the game. If he buries a shot from halfcourt on opening night, he’ll do so with a bang.
