5 Jrue Holiday trades that work for everyone

With the news of the New Orleans Pelicans actively shopping Jrue Holiday, here are five trades which both sides couldn’t refuse.

It seems that Jrue Holiday isn’t in the New Orleans Pelicans’ long-term plans. After failing to crack the playoff field despite being invited to the Orlando bubble, newly-appointed executive David Griffin has shifted towards rebuilding the roster around star rookie Zion Williamson.

Griffin already hired a new head coach in Stan Van Gundy. Now his focus is on filling the holes on the roster, including shipping off Holiday’s $52 million contract (with a $27 million player option for the 2021-22 season).

However, Holiday is only 30-years-old and still has plenty of high-level basketball left. With the news being broken by The Athletic and Stadium insider Shams Charania Tuesday morning, here are five trades the Pelicans should consider in which both sides would win in the long run.
