LeBron James playing beauty shop with his daughter is everything

LeBron James is praised for his on-court abilities, but his role as a father of three at home is just as impressive.

The greatest basketball player of his generation is still known as “dad” at home, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

As NBA players ready themselves to leave home for the bubble in south Florida, they had another chance to enjoy some family time with Father’s Day this Sunday. LeBron’s family has long spent time in the spotlight, with his wife Savannah making public appearances with the King and oldest son Bronny nearing an age where he’ll have to pick the college of his choice.

But on Sunday, one of his most dedicated Father’s Day activities involved his daughter Zhuri.

LeBron James is the ultimate girl dad, especially on Father’s Day.

Savannah James posted a complimentary Instagram revealing another side to LeBron that we don’t often see, with LBJ appreciating time with his wife and children away from the media spotlight. These still frames offer us a glimpse into LeBron’s home life, much of which he chooses to keep private, and understandably so.

The three-time NBA champ is a trained professional when it comes to dealing with the media, and making statements that transcend the sport he plays. Right now, his children are allowed a life away from the same distractions their father has become adjusted to, with Bronny the closest to reaching an age where his statements will be differentiated from that of his dad. Of course, that will come when he chooses to attend any number of Division 1 programs, or forgo college and take a shot at the G-League.

For now, though, LeBron’s home life is sacred, and he remains an appreciated husband and father on a day in which we all aim to cherish our dads, or those who assume such a role.

In the best of ways, the King isn’t so different from us.

Next: Wait, so is Skip Bayless a LeBron James fan now?
