The beauty of ‘The Last Dance’ is bringing new life to old stories, so here are five things we learned about Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls, Dennis Rodman and Phil Jackson in Episodes 3 and 4.

While Episodes 1 and 2 of The Last Dance laid the groundwork on Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls, Episodes 3 and 4 this week dove headfirst into excellent zingers, illuminating accounts of historic events and some downright hilarious anecdotes we hadn’t heard before.

While a lot of these NBA stories from the ’80s and ’90s are already well-known, the beauty of this 10-part docuseries is breathing new life into those events with firsthand accounts from MJ, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Phil Jackson and other Bulls, media members and opponents from that era.

In addition to Jordan’s early exploits leading up to his first title run, this week focused on Dennis Rodman’s eccentric persona and Phil Jackson’s rise to prominence, which meant there were plenty of juicy stories to go around.
