Is Dedmon still going to be moved?
Dewayne Dedmon is one of the most likely players to be moved at the deadline — he’s out of the rotation in Sacramento and has been vocal about his frustrations, asking for a trade. Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee has reported that the Kings are willing to reconcile with Dedmon. However, his minutes aren’t likely to increase dramatically and this may just be a ploy to try and regain some of the leverage they lost with Dedmon speaking out so loudly.
Hassan Whiteside could be on the move?
The Athletic’s Jason Quick is reporting that the Trail Blazers will listen to offers for Hassan Whiteside and gives even odds that they’ll find a deal before the deadline. The Trail Blazers have had a disappointing season but are still lurking close enough to grab a playoff spot. Whiteside is averaging 15.6 points, 14.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game this season.
