Tuesday’s Schmidt List looks at one awesome Rockets fan, the Bucks as title contenders, Pablo Sandoval does something not seen since 1905.
Rockets fan chants “New York Knicks” at Kevin Durant
The Rockets tied the series with the Warriors at 2-2 behind James Harden’s 38 points. The story behind the score is one Rockets fan who chanted “New York Knicks” when Kevin Durant touched the ball. That’s top-notch fansmanship that will get them in the Fandom 250. Rockets fans need to make sure that fan has tickets for Game 6.
Bucks look freaky good
Giannis had 39 points and 14 rebounds as Milwaukee took a 3-1 series lead vs. Boston. The Greek freak added to his highlight reel with a move that is rated TV-MA. They’ll cruise to the NBA Finals and could be the favorites to win it all after the Rockets and Warriors beat each other up.
Pablo Sandoval does something not seen since 1905
Pablo Sandoval became the second player in MLB history with a home run, stolen base and pitch a scoreless inning in the same game. The Giants 268-pound third baseman is the first since Christy Mathewson pulled off the trio on May 23, 1905. Baseball is so great because you never know when you’ll see something that hasn’t been done since Teddy Roosevelt was president.
A gathering of Goats
Have you ever seen so many Goats together before?!
How awesome is this picture Randy Moss shared on Twitter? From left to right are Larry Fitzgerald, Jerry Rice, Brett Favre, Roger Staubach, Tom Brady and Moss. This group of Hall of Famers and future Hall of Famers scored a combined 1,647 touchdowns with 219,518 yards and 12 Super Bowl wins. That’ll do.
