Sources: Nuggets’ Harris likely out 3-4 weeks

Denver Nuggets guard Gary Harris is expected to need three to four weeks to rehabilitate a right hip injury, league sources told ESPN.

He was injured in Monday’s victory over the Toronto Raptors, leaving the game late in the first quarter.

Harris, 24, had missed two games with a sore left ankle last week. Guard Malik Beasley has been afforded extended minutes in Harris’ absence, averaging 12.4 points and 3.4 rebounds over the past five games.

Harris is averaging 16.6 points per game on 44 percent shooting for the Nuggets this season.
