Kings’ Bagley exits with knee sprain, set for MRI

Sacramento Kings rookie Marvin Bagley III suffered a left knee sprain during Wednesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks and will not return.

Bagley will have an MRI on the knee Thursday, the team said.

Bagley, the No. 2 overall pick out of Duke, was hurt when he ran into a pick set by the Bucks’ Malcolm Brogdon near midcourt in the second half. He immediately went down clutching his knee and needed help from two team teammates while leaving the court.

Bagley had nine points before exiting. He was averaging 18.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.3 made free throws and 30.2 minutes in nine February games entering Wednesday’s game.
