Best NBA prop bets today for Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Game 3 (Anthony Edwards is Wolves best offense)

The Denver Nuggets have a 2-0 series lead on the Minnesota Timberwolves heading into Game 3, and we saw two players (Jamal Murray and Anthony Edwards) drop 40 points in Game 2.

There’s a prop bet that I love for Edwards at home in Game 3, as well as another for MVP candidate Nikola Jokic.

Let’s dive into the picks for Friday’s action:

Nuggets vs. Timberwolves best NBA prop bets

  • Anthony Edwards OVER 25.5 Points
  • Nikola Jokic OVER 0.5 3-Pointers Made

Anthony Edwards OVER 25.5 Points

Edwards closed out the regular season on a strong note, clearing this number in three of four games, but he had struggled in postseason play prior to Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, though, Edwards went nuts, scoring 41 points on 14-of-23 shooting, clearly establishing himself as Minnesota’s best offensive option.

With Karl-Anthony Towns (8-for-27 this series) struggling with his shot, I expect the Wolves to look to Edwards early and often to keep their hopes alive in Game 3.

Nikola Jokic OVER 0.5 3-Pointers Made

Am I overreacting to Game 2 a bit? Maybe.

But Jokic took three shots from beyond the arc in Game 2, hitting one of them while Rudy Gobert continued to sag off of him at the 3-point line.

Jokic shot an impressive 38.3 percent from 3-point range this season, but it’s not something he looks to do on a nightly basis.

However, if Gobert is going to give him the shot, I could see Jokic taking a few from deep again on Friday in an attempt to extend Minnesota’s defense. These are decent odds for Jokic to just get one from 3 on Friday.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
