The Golden State Warriors have jumped ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference after beating the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, but they need a win to stay there against Minnesota on Sunday.
The Wolves have played a large chunk of the 2022-23 season without Karl-Anthony Towns, which has made it tough on the team to break out of the play-in picture in the West.
Golden State has been terrific at home this season, going 23-7 while the Wolves are just 11-17 on the road. However, the Warriors are down Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins in this game and Draymond Green is listed as questionable.
Does that swing this game in Minnesota’s favor?

Timberwolves vs. Warriors prediction and pick
These teams have split their two matchups this season, with the Warriors picking up one of their seven road wins against the Wolves.
Golden State is in the second night of a back-to-back, but Klay Thompson isn’t on the injury report, which is a big step for the team’s offense.
The key difference here is that Golden State has a +6.8 net rating at home, while the Wolves are -2.6 on the road.
As long as Thompson and Poole are in the lineup, the Warriors have the offense to compete with the Wolves.
Minnesota has gone through back-to-back tough losses against the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets, and I think a third straight is coming tonight.
The Warriors are too good at home for me to fade them.
