Brace yourselves, because we have an absolutely LOADED card for Wednesday’s NBA action.
There are just two days of games before the All-Star break, so why not get in as many picks as possible (that we feel good about of course)?
I have a pair of two-pick parlays, two player props and a total to bet for the 10 games on Wednesday night. Get as many screens as you can, because we have plays in six of the 10 matchups on Feb. 15.
Fresh off a solid 3-for-4 day on Tuesday, I’m ready to stay hot for the community tonight. Let’s go:
NBA best bets record to date
NBA best bets today
- New York Knicks-Atlanta Hawks UNDER 233.5 (-110)
- Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets ML Parlay (-115)
- Josh Hart OVER 8.5 Points (-125)
- Mark Williams UNDER 21.5 Points and Rebounds (+110)
- LeBron James-Mikal Bridges Player Prop Parlay (+105)
New York Knicks-Atlanta Hawks UNDER 233.5 (-110)
The last time these teams matched up, the Hawks won 139-124 in Atlanta, but I’m going to take the UNDER in Wednesday’s game.
If you look at the other matchups between these rivals this season, the first game finished with 211 combined points, and the second was even lower at 202.
Both teams are playing well on offense (Atlanta is No. 3 and New York is No. 6) over their last 10 games, but they’ve both still gone under this number in five of their last seven.
The Knicks play at the No. 27 pace in the league, and six of the last seven games between these teams have fallen short of 233.5. Go UNDER.
Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets ML Parlay (-115)
Oklahoma City Thunder Moneyline (-490)
The Thunder are double-digit home favorites against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.
OKC is 8-4 straight up and against the spread as a home favorite this season, and it should roll against a Houston team that has lost six straight.
The Rockets are just 10-18 against the spread as road dogs, losing those games by an average margin of 11 points per game.
Trust OKC to get back on track tonight.
Denver Nuggets Moneyline (-180)
The Denver Nuggets are the best home team in the NBA, going 26-4 straight up this season.
Denver is the No. 1 offense in the league, and it should be able to take advantage of Dallas’ No. 22 defense.
Both teams have a bunch of players questionable in this game, which could swing the line, which is why I’m rolling with Denver on the moneyline.
Dallas Mavericks injury report
- Tim Hardaway Jr. (hamstring): Questionable
- Christian Wood (illness): Questionable
- Reggie Bullock (illness): Questionable
- Max Kleber (hamstring): Out
- Davis Bertans (calf): Out
Denver Nuggets injury report
- Aaron Gordon (ribs): Questionable
- Jamal Murray (knee): Questionable
- Reggie Jackson (trade): Out
- Zeke Nnaji (shoulder): Out
- Collin Gillespie (leg): Out
Dallas has dropped two straight, and the Nuggets have been elite as favorites at Ball Arena, going 17-10-1 ATS this season, winning those games by an average margin of 11.9 points per game.
Josh Hart OVER 8.5 Points (-125)
The newest member of the New York Knicks is making his presence felt, and I’m trusting him again tonight.
Josh Hart has already worked his way into Tom Thibodeau’s closing lineup, playing 26 and 28 minutes in his first two games for the Knicks, taking 20 total shots.
Dating back to his time with Portland, Hart has cleared 8.5 points in six of his last seven games.
The Knicks are giving him a consistent role, and a few more shots than he saw with the Blazers. I’ll back his OVER here.
Mark Williams UNDER 21.5 Points and Rebounds (+110)
If you want a reason to bet on the ugly Charlotte Hornets-San Antonio Spurs game tonight, look to Mark Williams’ points and rebounds prop.
The rookie center is getting more minutes with Mason Plumlee now in Los Angeles, but I’m still taking his UNDER on points and rebounds.
Williams has cleared this line just three times in 25 games, and since he moved into the starting lineup he’s averaging 10.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game on 6.3 shot attempts.
The offensive ceiling for Williams is limited, so unless he pushes well into double-digit boards (something he’s done just twice this season) I think he goes UNDER in this matchup.
LeBron James-Mikal Bridges Player Prop Parlay (+105)
- LeBron James 7+ Rebounds
- Mikal Bridges 15+ Points
LeBron James: LeBron is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday for the Los Angeles Lakers in a game they need to win. James is averaging 8.5 boards per game this season, picking up at least seven in 19 consecutive games.
Mikal Bridges: The Brooklyn Nets wing had a down game against the New York Knicks (7 points, 2-of-8 shooting), but he’s due for a bounce back against the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Bridges is averaging 17.2 points per game on the season, and he’s scored 15 or more points in 17 of his last 19 games.
