Rick Ross got the most out of his courtside seats at the playoff game between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers, grabbing his first NBA rebound.

Stars sitting courtside often get their share of attention during an NBA game but they rarely accumulate stats.

Rick Ross is an exception.

The rapper was sitting under the basket in Miami during Game 2 between the Heat and 76ers on Wednesday when the ball bounced his way and he showed off his rebounding skills.

“Just got my first rebound baby! Let’s go Heat! I’m coming off the bench!” Ross told the camera as he celebrated his catch.

The good news for Miami is it doesn’t look like they need Ross at this point. Their current lineup has things under control against the 76ers. With a 119-103 victory on Wednesday, they took a 2-0 series lead as proceedings shift to Philadelphia.

The Heat knew they’d have an increased advantage at the start of the series with 76ers star Joel Embiid ruled out because of an orbital fracture. Maintaining their home court advantage before Embiid has a chance to get healthy was essential.

On Wednesday, Bam Adebayo once again set the tone with 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal. Jimmy Butler came through with 22 points, six rebounds and 12 assists for his third double-double of the postseason.

Now Embiid will have a major hill to climb if he does indeed get back in time for Game 3 or 4.
