Klutch Sports gets best of 76ers with hilarious Ben Simmons-themed troll

Klutch Sports campaigned for Ben Simmons to be named to the NBA All-Star Game, even though he has not played a game this season for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ben Simmons is the story for the Philadelphia 76ers, in regards to whether the team can find a trade or if he will ultimately stay. Simmons has not played a game this season, as he is unhappy with the team following their playoff exit at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks.

Even though Simmons has not suited up in a 76ers uniform, Klutch Sports decided to have some fun. The agency’s official Twitter account sent out a tweet asking for fans to retweet their message to help Simmons get named to the NBA All-Star Game.

This would be quite the story if this actually picks up traction in terms of NBA All-Star game voting.

Simmons has been away from the team ever since the 76ers were eliminated in the second-round by the Hawks. The guard averaged 9.9 points on 6.4 shot attempts in those six games. This past summer, Simmons requested a trade off the 76ers, and nothing has gotten done due to team president Daryl Morey’s high price tag for interested teams.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported on Dec. 13 that among the teams interested in Simmons are the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Without Simmons, Philadelphia currently sits in seventh-place in the Eastern Conference with a 16-16 record as of Christmas Day.
