Joel Embiid can’t help throwing a little shade while he praises Andre Drummond

Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid took a playful jab at Andre Drummond, as the two have quite the past.

Now that Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond are teammates for the Philadelphia 76ers, it really has sitcom written all over it. No one has forgotten about the their beef in the past, with Embiid constantly trolling him on social media. It was so dang entertaining.

Now, the two have put things behind them and are ready to move forward in helping the team try and record a big-time season. With that said, you just knew that Embiid’s bubbling personality wouldn’t prevent him from continuing to fire off some digs at his new friend.

Joel Embiid trolling Andre Drummond is the gift that keeps on giving

This is nothing short of sensational from Embiid. He has no problems reminding Drummond that he used to dominate him in the paint and get inside of his head whenever the two would do battle down in the paint.

Moving forward, though, they’ll look to be a powerful one-two punch as stud Philly big men going up against the rest of the Eastern Conference. As soon as it was announced that Drummond was heading to the 76ers, eyebrows were raised knowing that he and Embiid would play next to one another.

The two wasted zero time in squashing any issues, though, and their No. 1 focus is on having a great first season together. With Ben Simmons potentially playing for the team this year too instead of being traded, it’s looking like things really are looking up for this team.

Only time will tell if the 76ers can live up to the hype and be among the elite squads in the Eastern Conference, but Embiid sure has confidence that his team will get the job done.
