Trading card featuring signatures from 8 sports legends hits market for insane price

A trading card with eight signatures from professional athletes is making its rounds across the internet for the star power and the price coming with it.

Trading cards can go for cheap or beyond expensive, but sometimes it’s hard for an untrained eye to really tell a card’s worth. Sometimes you can just look at a card and tell: that’s one expensive piece of cardboard.

In Runnemeade, New Jersey, there’s a really expensive piece of cardboard out there. All it takes is one glance and you can understand the reason for the price tag. Eight autographs sit on this card, ranging from NBA Champion and Finals MVP, Giannis Antentokounmpo, to MMA fighter, Conor McGregor, to Olympian, Chloe Kim.

The range on this card is far reaching. But what about the price tag? How much is this going for?

The autographed trading card is going for $20,000 and will sell near the end of the month, TMZ reports

The card includes autographs from Antentokounmpo, Kim, McGregor, Floyd Mayweather, Steph Curry, Errol Spence Jr., Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

TMZ reports that the card has been going on the bidding war for around a week, but it won’t sell for less than a projected $20,000. That’s a very pretty penny, but it’s nowhere near the most expensive sports card. Forbes says the title belongs to a $5.9 Million rookie card of Steph Curry, one of the names on the eight signature card mentioned in this article.

The card should sell by the end of the month. If the athletes on the list grow in worth and talent in the coming years, you can guarantee the price will definitely go up.
