James Harden will play for the Rockets today, mending fences?

Despite all the offseason drama, James Harden will take the court for the Houston Rockets in a preseason game on Tuesday.

Believe it or not, James Harden is all set to make his 2020-21 debut for the Houston Rockets on Tuesday evening. Nothing but offseason drama has surrounded Harden and the organization this offseason.

Things reached a new level when Harden reportedly missed the start of camp to spend some extra time in Las Vegas partying it up with other celebrities. Despite that, the sharpshooter is all set to hit the floor to face the San Antonio Spurs and Gregg Popovich.

It still feels like James Harden will be traded by the Houston Rockets

Despite being inarguably one of the best scorers in the Western Conference, Harden has made it clear that he’s not happy in Houston. The All-Star forward has also let the organization know he’s hoping to get traded to a different contender.

Among the teams on Harden’s list include the 76ers, Heat, Bucks and others. Whether or not the Rockets end up trading him is completely up in the air. While Harden may want to leave, the Houston front office isn’t just going to sent him out of town for a bargain, especially after the team pulled off the blockbuster deal involving John Wall and Russell Westbrook.

Harden is now back in Houston and has been working out with the team as if nothing is going on. At the same time, you know it’s a bit of an awkward situation with all of the outside noise certainly making its way to the locker room.

For now, Harden will suit up for Houston and take the floor on Tuesday night against San Antonio. However, who knows how much longer he’ll be donning a Rockets jersey.
