There have been back-to-back blowouts in the Golden State Warriors-Los Angeles Lakers series, with each team winning one ahead of Monday’s Game 4.
Los Angeles has a 2-1 series lead, and the team could take control at home with another win. Anthony Davis has been the key for the Lakers in this series scoring 55 points and grabbing 36 rebounds in the Lakers’ two wins in this series.
After hitting 20+ shots from beyond the arc in the first two games of the series, the Warriors fell off in Game 3, hitting just 13-for-44 shots from beyond the arc.
Game 3 was an all-around bad showing from the Warriors, turning the ball over 19 times and shooting below 40.0 percent from the field.
Can Stephen Curry and company even the series before it heads back to Golden State?
Here’s a look at the latest odds for Game 4:

Warriors vs. Lakers prediction and pick
If there’s a reason to back the Warriors, it lies in this key playoff trend: Golden State is 28-9 (after Game 2) following a loss in the playoffs in Curry’s career.
That’s over a 75 percent winning percentage, and the Warriors showed the resilience in Game 2, dominating the Lakers in the third quarter en route to a blowout win.
I am skeptical about the Lakers’ Game 3 performance, as the team made 15 3-pointers, shooting 48.4 percent from deep in the game, even though it was one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the NBA this season.
Davis and James can take over games, but the Warriors got nothing from Klay Thompson or their bench in Game 3. I can’t see them going that cold again in Game 4.
I’m going to back Golden State to win outright as an underdog.
