Best NBA prop bets today for Lakers vs. Warriors Game 1 (Steph Curry stays hot)

LeBron James and Steph Curry face off in the playoffs once again on Tuesday night.

The No. 6-seeded Golden State Warriors host the No.7-seeded Los Angeles Lakers, and there are tons of prop bets we can bet in this matchup. I’m focusing on two of the stars, Anthony Davis and Curry with today’s bets, but don’t worry, I’m sure there will be picks for LeBron as the series goes on.

Let’s break down these three plays for Tuesday:

Anthony Davis OVER 2.5 Blocks

Anthony Davis averaged over four blocks per game against the Grizzlies, swatting away 26 shots in six games.

Now, he gets to take on a smaller Golden State team and bigs Draymond Green and Kevon Looney. This should be easy pickings for Davis.

The All-NBA big man had just one game in the Memphis series where he blocked less than three shots, and it was the team’s blowout loss in Game 5. I expect him to continue to be a menace on the defensive end in this series.

Austin Reaves OVER 24.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Austin Reaves has cleared this number in four of his six playoff games, including a strong Game 6 against Memphis where he posted 25 PRA despite sitting the majority of the fourth quarter in a blowout.

Reaves has seen a ton of playing time for the Lakers (at least 31 minutes in every postseason game), and he may draw the best matchup against Golden State in Game 1.

The Warriors are likely going to play Andrew Wiggins on LeBron James and they may use Klay Thompson to defend D’Angelo Russell after his big game in Game 6 vs. Memphis.

Reaves has stuffed the stat sheet, grabbing at least four boards in five straight and putting up at least six dimes in three straight. He’s a value at this number.

Steph Curry OVER 31.5 Points

There’s hot, and then there is whatever Steph Curry is doing right now.

Scalding, maybe?

Steph has at least 28 points in every single playoff game for Golden State, scoring an NBA record 50 points in Game 7 on Sunday.

The Warriors on/off numbers with Curry are astounding this postseason, so I expect him to get as much run as he can handle in this series, especially in a Game 1 at home.

Steph has taken at least 20 field goal attempts and 10 3-point attempts in every game this postseason. With volume like that, he’s a solid bet to crack 32 or more points.
