“The Raptors offense has overcome its season long woes and is operating at a high level. After trading for Jakob Poeltl at the trade deadline, the team’s offense looks more complete with a post scorer and the group is scoring more than two points per 100 possessions.

“They will face a Sixers team that has a defensive anchor in Embiid, but is playing down from its top 10 level over the balance of the season and just about the league average in the month of March.

“While the Raptors offense is trending up, and should be able to score against the Sixers vulnerable defense of late, the defense won’t be able to keep down the Sixers, who are the best offense in basketball in March.

“Embiid has a lingering calf injury, but he can get 30 with ease and is leading the NBA in scoring. Further, the team has been humming with Tyrese Maxey helping out James Harden (who is nursing an Achilles injury), averaging 23 points in March on 55/51/93 shooting splits.

“I’ll back the over with offenses playing at such a high level.” – Reed Wallach

“Despite their embarrassing loss to the Wizards, the Celtics have been red hot with their shooting lately. Over their last three games, they have an effective field goal percentage of 63.1%, the second best mark in the NBA over that stretch.

“Both teams rank inside the top five in three point shot rate, but it’s the Celtics who are much better at defending the three. They rank fifth in opponent three point field goal percentage, keeping them to shooting 34.9% from beyond the arc.

“Meanwhile, the Jazz come in at 18th, allowing teams to shoot 36.4% from three point land.

“It’s a huge spread for the Celtics to cover, but they are no strangers to winning with margin this season. They rank first in the NBA in average score differential at +6.5.

“I’ll lay the points with them tonight and bet on them to cover the big spread.” – Iain MacMillan

“It’s a full on tankathon in San Antonio. They’ve lost their last five, all by double-digits, and they are understandably huge underdogs.

“The Spurs has been good at losing all year long, but they’ve turned it up a notch in March. Sure, they’re 4-10, but they’ve been BAD. They have a -11.6 net rating, which is 29th in the NBA, only the Trail Blazers, who shut down Damian Lillard, have been worse this month. The team’s leading scorer, Keldon Johnson has only played six games this month, but he is probable to go tonight.

“If the Warriors were on the road, then I could see them slipping up and losing to an inferior opponent, but the Warriors are 31-8 at home and have a 7.5 net rating in home games which is fifth best in the NBA. Steph Curry is coming off a stellar game in which he dropped 39 points, eight rebounds and eight assists on Tuesday, so let’s back the Warriors to win BIG.” – Josh Yourish
