The Golden State Warriors have lost back-to-back games, struggling without All-Star Steph Curry ahead of Monday’s matchup with the Washington Wizards.
The Wizards have won seven of their last 10 games, moving back up into the No. 9 spot in the East. Washington has been up and down all season, but it may get a key player back in the lineup in this game in Kyle Kuzma (questionable).
The Warriors have listed Andrew Wiggins as questionable for this game, and they’d love for him to play at home where they’ve been much better, going 21-7 this season.
This is the 23rd time that the Wizards are road dogs, and they’ve gone 11-10-2 in that spot this season.
Here’s how I’m wagering on this matchup:
Wizards vs. Warriors odds, spread and total
Wizards vs. Warriors prediction and pick
The Warriors are 12-11-1 against the spread as home favorites, winning those games by an average margin of 6.0 points.
Not having Steph is a huge blow to Golden State’s offense, but I still think the Warriors can win this game.
Washington is just 23rd in the NBA in net rating this season, and the team has been up and down all season. The Wizards are in a hot stretch right now, they did lose three straight before putting together back-to-back wins to close last week.
This is becoming a must-win game for the Warriors, who are in danger of falling in the play-in tournament in the West.
This is a short line for Golden State at home, so I’ll lay the points, especially if Kuzma ends up sitting.
