Suns vs. Warriors prediction and odds for Tuesday, January 10 (Keep fading Phoenix)

The Golden State Warriors will welcome a familiar face back to the lineup on Tuesday night, as Steph Curry is expected to return from his shoulder injury.

That’s great news for Golden State, who sits at .500 on the season and has been able to survive without Curry for the past month.

The Warriors are massive favorites against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, and Phoenix is without just about everyone you can think of. Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Cameron Johnson and Cam Payne are all out for this game, while several other key players are questionable.

The Suns have dropped six straight games to fall to the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference, and they’ve been brutal without Booker, going 2-10 this season.

With Curry back, the Warriors are looking to build on their already impressive home record. How should we bet on this matchup?

Suns vs. Warriors prediction and pick

Laying 11.5 points with any team is a tricky process, but I’m going to do it with the Warriors tonight.

Curry’s return should rejuvenate the team’s offense, and the Suns have been downright awful as of late, especially on the offensive end.

Phoenix is 29th in the NBA in offensive rating over its last 10 games, and with Paul and Payne out of the lineup, I have serious concerns about how this group will operate against Golden State.

Golden State enters this game with a 10-6-1 against the spread record as a home favorite, and the Suns have lost three of their six games on this skid by 14 or more points.

The Warriors are seventh in the NBA in net rating at home, and I’d expect them to handle the Suns pretty easily tonight.
