The Nuggets and Kings meet in Sacramento meet for the second straight night, making for an interesting situational betting spot.
Denver has been busy of late, playing an overtime thriller against the Suns on Christmas, and now playing their third game in four nights with another matchup against the Kings. Denver has some injury concerns, including Jeff Green and a still rounding into optimal shape Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. Could this be a letdown or rest spot for Denver?
Let’s assess by first checking out the odds:

Nuggets vs. Kings Prediction and Pick
This is a great spot to back the Kings, who were up 12 after the first quarter and nine at halftime. The game was in the balance in the final four minutes before Denver pulled away and won by seven, but I don’t see a similar finish in this one.
The Nuggets are short key contributors such as Green and also likely Bruce Brown as well. This also could be a load management spot for key Denver playmakers like Murray and Porter Jr, who missed most of last season and has sat back-to-back sets this season already.
It’s worth noting that the Kings didn’t have Domantas Sabonis on Tuesday, who said he would attempt to play with a right thumb fracture. His status is unknown for this one, but I do like the Kings to bounce back given the injury/rest concerns for Denver in a tricky scheduling spot.
I’ll grab the home underdog here.
