There are just four games in the NBA on Thursday night, but there are still plenty of props to wager on, and the BetSided team has a pair that they love in the Memphis Grizzlies-Milwaukee Bucks matchup.
Jaren Jackson Jr. has been terrific since returning to the lineup for the Grizzlies, and Ben Heisler thinks there’s a way you can take advantage of his recent surge against the Bucks’ No. 1 defense.
With Jrue Holiday out for Milwaukee. Peter Dewey has his sights set on another Bucks guard to have a big game tonight.

Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 22.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-110)
Perhaps I’m walking right into a trap line, but the number for Jaren Jackson Jr. is far too low given his recent production.
Jackson Jr. has a hit rate of 90%, exceeding 22.5 points, rebounds and assists in nine of his last 10 games with the lone exception being 16 in early December vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He’s been incredibly efficient as well. Averaging the most points in the entire NBA with less than 30 minutes per game.
The Milwaukee Bucks are just outside the top 10 in pace, and while they’re an elite defensive efficiency team, Jackson will be needed to make an impact throughout the game, so I expect even more minutes tonight. – Ben Heisler
Jevon Carter OVER 3.5 Assists (-115)
If you’re looking for a prop that’s off the beaten path, turn your attention to the Bucks’ matchup with the Grizzlies and bet on point guard Jevon Carter.
Carter may not be the typical player you look to bet on, but with Holiday out for the Bucks in this game, Carter is going to get the start, and he’s thrived when Holiday is out of the lineup.
In the six games that Holiday has missed, Carter is averaging 6.8 assists per game when clearing 3.5 dimes in five of those six matchups.
I don’t mind the OVER on Carter’s points either, but he took just three shots in his last game in place of Holiday, so assists is the safer route.
The Grizzlies allow a ton of assists this season, ranking 28th in the league in opponent assists per game (26.4). Carter is averaging 3.4 assists per game this season, so he’s been a solid passer even when Holiday has played. – Peter Dewey
