LeBron James sounds the alarm for Lakers fans with latest Instagram post

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James’ latest Instagram post is eyeopening following the team’s 0-4 start to the season.

After missing out on the playoffs (and play-in tournament), the Los Angeles Lakers spent the offseason trying to improve their roster, while hiring a new head coach in Darvin Ham. Yet, the start to their season has been, well, bad.

On Wednesday night, the Lakers lost 110-99 to the Denver Nuggets to fall to 0-4 on the season. This is the first time that LeBron James got off to such a start through the first four games since his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2003-04).

Following the loss, James posted a photo of himself dunking with the caption “how long will you be taken for granted…keep going kid.”

Make of that what you will.

The Lakers are winless through their first four games of the season for a reason. They have the second-worst field goal percentage in the league (41.6) and the worst three-point percentage amongst all 30 teams (22.3). In terms of the three-point percentage, the Oklahoma City Thunder have the second-worst three-point percentage, which is 27.3. That is a whole five-percentage points.

In the aforementioned game against the Nuggets, James scored 19 points while shooting 8-for-21 from the field, dished out nine assists, and grabbed seven rebounds. James also led the team with a staggering eight turnovers.

This season, James is averaging 25.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 7.8 assists, while shooting 45.3-percent from the field and 25.7-percent from the three-point line.

James and the Lakers will look to get their first win of the season on Friday night when they take on the 3-2 Minnesota Timberwolves.
