Warriors latest injury update should truly scare the Celtics

The Golden State Warriors’ latest injury update should scare the Boston Celtics ahead of the NBA Finals.

Golden State has fought through injuries this season, but the latest injury update should cause the Celtics’ to shake in their sneakers.

The Warriors will list Gary Payton II, Andre Iguodala and Otto Porter Jr. as questionable for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Still, head coach Steve Kerr said all three participated in a practice scrimmage on Wednesday.

If Golden State can get these three guys back for the series, it could help them have enough talent to win another NBA Championship.

Warriors latest injury update could mean reinforcements coming for NBA Finals

This injury update is a great one to see for Warrior fans because they were able to have some contact today and show that progress is getting made.

Those questionable statuses could even change before Thursday’s game, but still, seeing them questionable has to be reassuring to fans and even the team. While the Warriors are a stout team who has a lot of talent, these three elevate them to another level that Boston may not be able to handle.

Even if these three don’t play in Game 1 of the series, they are closer to getting back on the court and could appear at some point in the Finals. While the official word won’t likely happen until right before Game 1, Boston will have to adjust the game plan to prep for them.

Regardless if they play, the Celtics need to know how to handle them they do because if Boston believes it can get by without preparing, they will look silly.

Of course, the Celtics should be prepared for whatever arises, but they need to act like the “questionable” status is a “ready to go” one, so regardless, the Celtics will hopefully be ready.

If not, this update could have just sent that team into a frenzy, trying to get ready for Game 1, and even that might not be enough. Only time will tell if we see this trio in Game 1 or not, but this group will eventually be on the court for one of the better NBA Finals in recent years.
