The Miami Heat were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs after losing Game 7, but fans think they were robbed on this call in particular.
The Miami Heat scratched and clawed their way from a 3-2 Eastern Conference Finals deficit against the Boston Celtics to force Game 7. One more win, and they would face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. Sadly for Miami, their season ended on Sunday night, as they fell 110-106 to the Celtics.
Some Heat fans feel that the team was robbed on one call in particular, Max Strus’ three-pointer being negated due to his heel hitting the out of bounds line. Take a look for yourself and see if you think it was the right call.
Heat fans think they were robbed of a Max Strus three-pointer
Sadly for Miami fans who felt this was the wrong call, it will stand and there is no way for them to overturn it.
The Celtics are now heading to the NBA Finals for the 22nd time in franchise history and the first time since 2010. Meanwhile, the Heat will look back and try to off this season, where they were just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the second time in three seasons.
