NBA Twitter lost their minds after the Milwaukee Bucks pulled off an insane Game 5 victory over the Boston Celtics.
The Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics has been nothing short of fantastic. With the series tied 2-2, both teams had to fight tooth and nail for the pivotal Game 5 victory. Sure enough, it took until the final seconds of regulation to find a winner.
Milwaukee managed to pick up the 110-107 victory over Boston. The win came to fruition for the Bucks on a clutch two-pointer by Bobby Portis after he immediately rebounded a missed free throw by Giannis Antetokounmpo with 11.4-seconds remaining.
Celtics guard and NBA Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart attempted a four-foot layup with 8.1-seconds remaining to retake the lead, but he was viciously blocked by Jrue Holiday. After two made free throws by Pat Connaughton, Smart drove up the court for a chance to force overtime. However, as he attempted to cross the half-court line, he had the ball stolen from him by Jrue Holiday to clinch the victory for the reigning NBA Champions.

Twitter users could not help but share their thoughts on the epic ending of Game 5 in Boston.
Milwaukee knows what it takes to win a Larry O’Brien trophy, they did it just last year. Even though they were trailing, they picked it up when it mattered most. As the Bucks Twitter account said, they went on an 11-2 run in the final 1:34 of regulation to pick up the three-point win.
Antetokounmpo led the way for the Bucks, as he scored 40 points while shooting 16-for-27 from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds for the double-double. Portis picked up a double-double of his own, scoring 14 points and grabbing 15 rebounds off the bench. Holiday recorded 24 points (9-24 FG), eight rebounds and eight assists in 41 minutes of playing time.
As for Boston, they saw big performances by Jayson Tatum (34 points, six rebounds, four assists) and Jayen Brown (26 points, eight rebounds, six assists) go to waste.
The Bucks now have the chance to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals for the third time in four years with a Game 6 victory at home on Friday, May 13.
