Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers refused to speak on LeBron James’ recent comments about wanting to play with Steph Curry.
This week, LeBron James made some headlines, and not just for the Los Angeles Lakers being eliminated from playoff contention following a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns. A clip from James’ HBO show, “The Shop,” featured the Lakers star speaking about who he would like to play with, with Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry being one of them.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers was asked about James’ comments during an appearance on “Steiny and Guru” on 95.7 The Game, but he would not speak on them specifically. However, he did say “who wouldn’t wanna play with Curry?”

Myers was not the only one to speak on James’ comments. Curry was asked about James’ desire for a team-up, he said that he’s “good right now,” citing the past two years that they played on the same All-Star team.
Once the regular season officially ends, James is under contract with the Lakers for one more year. After the 2022-23 campaign, James will hit unrestricted free agency.
Curry, on the other hand, is not leaving the Warriors any time soon. After this season, Curry’s contract extension officially kicks in, where he will make $215.3 million over four years.
Back to the aforementioned clip, James named his oldest son, Bronny, as the number one player he would like to team up with, which is not a surprise. James did say during All-Star Weekend that he would want to team up with his son before retiring.
