Will Ben Simmons ever play for the Nets?

Brooklyn Nets fans are growing increasingly frustrated with Ben Simmons still not making his team debut yet.

While Philadelphia 76ers fans were able to celebrate James Harden making his debut on Feb. 26 with a 27-point showing, people in Brooklyn are still waiting on Ben Simmons. When will the new Nets stud hit the hardwood?

Well, that’s totally unknown. According to Shama Charania, Simmons is dealing with a back injury. It’s being considered a day-to-day issue, but still, there’s no exact timetable for when he’ll be able to suit up for his new team.

It’s up in the air when Ben Simmons will make his Nets debut

It just feels like it’s one thing after another with Simmons at this point, and this back injury sure is unlucky for him. Having said that, Brooklyn supporters are ready to see him hit the hardwood. From the moment it was announced Simmons was being sent to the Nets as part of the Harden trade, people all over town were talking him up.

Now, it’s looking like people are going to have to wait a little longer to see Simmons make his 2021-22 debut. Simmons will be ready to put all of the drama from Philadelphia behind him and try to help Brooklyn go on a deep postseason run this spring.

The Nets are currently in eighth place of the Eastern Conference standings, but this team is always going to be a threat when Kevin Durant is on the floor drilling shots from all over place. Once Simmons laces up his sneakers, this team is going to get more dangerous. Unfortunately for the Nets fans out there, no one really knows when Simmons will be ready to go, but the hope is it will happen sooner than later.
