James Harden Injury update: When will he play again?

James Harden was ruled out of the Brooklyn Nets’ game against the Golden State Warriors due to a hand injury.

Entering Saturday, Jan. 29, the Brooklyn Nets were on a three-game losing streak. To end it as early as possible, they had to defeat the Golden State Warriors. But, they were going to be shorthanded in terms of stars.

Without Kevin Durant available, the Nets ruled James Harden out for their game against the Warriors due to a right hand strain.

How much time will James Harden miss for Nets?

It is unknown as of this writing if the injury will be long-term or short-term.

Prior to the game, head coach Steve Nash said that Harden has been dealing with some discomfort in his right hand for a while. Yet, Harden’s hand flared up on Saturday morning and an MRI determined that he suffered a strain. He was initially determined a game-time decision, but was ultimately ruled out.

Harden missed the team’s game against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, Jan. 26 due to a left hamstring injury.

He last played in the team’s 106-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. In that game, Harden scored 33 points while shooting 11-for-24 from the field, in addition to recording 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

The best thing for Nets fans to do is to wait for an official announcement from the team. Until then, it is unknown how much time Harden could miss due to this right hand strain.
