The New York Knicks have fully embraced the “Bing Bong” movement with their latest sound effect at Madison Square Garden.

New York professional sports fans are desperate for some wins, but luckily the NBA has them covered, particularly with the Knicks. After beating the Boston Celtics in double overtime in the season-opener, fans celebrated outside Madison Square Garden like they won the NBA title. That is where we heard the phrase “bing bong” coined by Jordie Bloom in the video posted by Sidetalk.

Well, the Knicks have fully embraced “bing bong” because the Garden now has an official sound effect whenever they make a three-point shot. That was recognized after Evan Fournier hit a shot from behind the arc during Monday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
